Overview

The XABCD Pattern tool allows you to manually draw 5 point patterns on to your chart. The most common of these patterns are:

  • Bat
  • Butterfly
  • Crab
  • Gartley

MASXABCD Large
To add the tool to your chart, select the tool from the Harmonic Patterns tool group, and left-click on the first bar you want to calculate the tool from. Next, select the other six points to calculate the tool to. Optuma will then draw the tool using the default settings. Each has a Bullish / Bearish version. The colour of the indicator will auto select Red (Bearish) or Green (Bullish) depending on the angle of the first line between points X and A. An upward angle will colour green, and a downward angle will colour red.
