Setting up Indian data from Global Datafeeds in Optuma

Clients with a Global Datafeeds account can connect Optuma for realtime Indian data using an API key.

Once an account has been created copy your unique API key and log in to Optuma:

  • click on Data > Configure Data Providers
  • select Global Datafeeds
  • click Next

On the next screen paste the API key from your Global Datafeed account, and click Next:

Move NSE and / or NSE Derivatives from Available to Selected Exchanges, and click Apply.

Optuma’s Data menu button should then turn green and say Global Datafeeds Connected - if not restart Optuma.

Once the connection has been confirmed, open a chart from the NSE exchange to access live data, and you will now have the option to switch to any intraday timeframe:

NSE data options will appear in your Security Selector windows (F3):
