Setting up Indian data from Global Datafeeds in Optuma

Clients with a Global Datafeeds account can connect Optuma for realtime Indian data using an API key.

Click here to contact Global Datafeeds to open an account.

Once an account has been created copy your unique API key and log in to Optuma:
  • click on Data > Configure Data Providers
  • select Global Datafeeds
  • click Next

On the next screen paste the API key from your Global Datafeed account, and click Next:

Move NSE and / or NSE Derivatives from Available to Selected Exchanges, and click Apply.


Note: NSE Derivatives only available from Optuma v1.6 and later.

Optuma's Data menu button should then turn green and say Global Datafeeds Connected - if not restart Optuma.

Once the connection has been confirmed, open a chart from the NSE exchange to access live data, and you will now have the option to switch to any intraday timeframe:

NSE data options will appear in your Security Selector windows (F3):
