Overview

The Time Measure tool quickly and easily counts the distance between two bars in any time frame (eg hours, bars, calendar days, weeks). The distance can be repeated to identify potential market cycles.

The repeated measures can also be expanded, so with an Expansion of 1.5 the second repeated measure in the example above would be 81 days, followed by 121 days, etc. Also, clients with the optional Astro Tool Module are able to measure the time by planetary degrees.

Move to Back: If the tool is displaying in front of other tools or indicators clicking this action will move the tool view to the background.

Move to Front: If the tool is displaying behind other tools or indicators on the chart, clicking this action will bring the tool to the forefront.

Restore Default Settings: Click this action if you have adjusted the default settings of the tool, and wish to return to the standard properties originally installed with Optuma.
