Course of Trade

Overview

The Course of Trade chart displays a detailed list of all individual trade transactions that have taken place for the selected security.

To open a Course of Trade chart, left click on the New menu, navigate to the Live heading and select the Course of Trade option.

The Data selector will then display for you to select the desired security.

Actions & Properties

Actions

Clone Chart: When selected an exact replica of the existing Course of Trade chart will be created.

Print Chart: Opens the page in a PDF document, which can then be printed.

Restore Default Settings: Click this action if you have adjusted the default settings of the Course of Trade chart, and wish to return to the standard properties originally installed with Optuma.

Save Settings as Default: If you have adjusted any of the Course of Trade chart’s properties you can save the adjustments as your new default setting. Each time you open a new Course of Trade chart it will display using the new settings.

Send To: Expands to display the following options:

  • Clipboard - Saves a copy of the Course of Trade chart to the Clipboard, either in Bitmap or Vector format.
  • Image File - Saves a copy of the Course of Trade chart as an image file, either in Bitmap or Vector format.
  • Outlook - Applicable to Professional Services only, when selected the current Course of Trade chart will be sent to Microsoft Outlook.
  • Word - Applicable to Professional Services only, when selected the current Course of Trade chart will be displayed as an image in Microsoft Word.

Properties

Date Range: Specifies the date range for which the Course of Trade data will be displayed for. The range that can be displayed will depend on what is available from the nominated live data provider.

Filters: Allows various filters to be applied. It is possible to Allow zero close prices, Ignore out of session ticks and show single session.

Font Size: Sets the size of the font for the Course of Trade data. To adjust the font size, click and drag the slider, left to make the text smaller or right to make the text larger.
