Overview

The Gann Day Count tool combines the functionality of the Trading Day Intervals and Calendar Day Intervals tools, however, the Gann Day Count also adjusts automatically each day, to provide a continuous bar count as new data is added. The counts can be in hours, trading days, calendar days, weeks, and months.

In the following example, the Gann Day Count has been setup to show every 90 Bars (trading days on a daily chart) and 144 Calendar Days from December 16th 2018. The interval lines are drawn automatically along with a running count of the last bar. In the example below the last bar was on June 25th 2020 - 482 trading days, or 679 calendar days, since the starting date.
